Tonglen led by Frits Koster
The Mindfulness Network invites you to join Frits Koster - co-founder of Mindfulness-based Compassionate Living (MBCL) - in a one-off, online workshop that will introduce you to a breathing practice known as Compassionate Breathing (or Tonglen).
-
Tonglen is an old Tibetan meditation practice, offering us the ability to explore and to relate to difficulties in a specific, more intimate way. It could be referred to as a paradoxical practice that may feel quite strange in the beginning. In a secular compassion training (MBCL) we have tried to make it more accessible and refer to it as Compassionate Breathing. In this workshop we shall explore this peculiar practice in practice and in theory.
