“The world is full of magic things, patiently waiting for our senses to grow sharper.” - W.B. Yeats (1865-1939)
There are many challenges and problems in the world at this time. It may also be important to sustain our inner balance to make space for awe and (sympathetic) joy in our lives. Buddhist psychology speaks about sympathetic joy as a heavenly abode.
Frits invites us to explore together the themes of awe and (sympathetic) joy in practice and in theory: how can we discover, express and cultivate these wholesome qualities as a valuable support in a frantic world?
