I'm reaching out on behalf of our research team at University of Turku (Finland), Åbo Akademi (Finland) and Stanford University (CA, USA). We are running a study about the features of meditative states, and we gather reports of people’s personally meaningful meditation experiences worldwide. The aim of the study is to gain insight into what people experience during meditative states, and how the contents of the experience are related to other factors, such as their wellbeing. The principal investigators in the study are Dr. Jussi Jylkkä (Åbo Akademi University, Finland) and Dr. Sikka Pilleriin (Stanford University, USA).

Answering the study takes app. 30–60 minutes and participation is completely anonymous (we do not save any directly or indirectly identifying information). The study has been approved by the ethical council of Åbo Akademi University, Finland.

You can take part in the study by following this link: https://users.abo.fi/jjylkka/meditation/

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions regarding this study!
