Introduction

  • Experiencing difficult emotions is one of life’s biggest challenges. We all have them, even though we often feel alone when it happens.

     

    In this session, we will learn how mindfulness and self-compassion can support us in this territory, helping us release the grip of emotions such as loneliness, fear, sadness, frustration, and particularly shame, and change their impact on our lives. 

     

    The evening will include a talk on this subject, an opportunity to try out some short practices. Both tender and fierce self-compassion approaches are included.
