Donation-based workshops hosted by Fiona McKechnie and supported by the Mindfulness Network Community Friends
Monthly sessions on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 - 8:30 pm (UK Time)
These workshops will be an opportunity to explore mindfulness and how it can support managing a fatiguing health condition.
Each session will include:
- Current thinking on post-viral and persistent fatigue and the basis of a mindfulness-based approach. This will be presented in an accessible way and while not a comprehensive review of the research, is informed by current research and best practice.
- A 20-minute practice and short practices.
- Breakout rooms to discuss with others.
- Time for questions but please note very personal or complex queries will not be able to be addressed in this forum.
- There will be a 10-minute break halfway through the 90-minute session, and other fatigue management principles will be practiced throughout.
- Part of each session will be recorded and will be available on the tiles at the bottom of this page.
Checking in and setting intentions
When you join a mindfulness group or workshop, it is important to be clear about why you want to do it, what you hope it will help, and what you already know. So we can help you best, knowing a bit more about you is really helpful, therefore please complete the check-in before registering on the Zoom link for each session. You will only have to complete the check-in once.
