These are monthly drop-in sessions for people with Parkinson’s as well as their family members and support team. The sessions are 40 minutes long from 8pm - 8.40pm, facilitated by a mindfulness trainer, with around 20 minutes of guided practice followed by some time to reflect and connect. The intention is to offer practices to support different aspects of living with Parkinson’s. No previous mindfulness experience is needed and you are welcome to come along and try a session.

Mindfulness practices are suitable for most people, though there may be certain circumstances when it may be wiser not to practice formally. If you’re unsure about whether this is a good time to be coming along to these monthly drop-in sessions, please contact us with your questions. You can also contact us if you notice that taking part in a session has caused any increase in either physical or emotional difficulties. We will talk through with you how you can practice safely and where you may be able to access further support.
